This course covers the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.

The unit applies to educators and support staff working within an education and care setting, responding to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.

This unit of competency will contribute towards approved first aid asthma and anaphylaxis training under the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)

This unit of competency is endorsed by ACECQA and meets the requirements of “First Aid Asthma & Anaphylaxis.”

This course is suitable for anyone working in extended daycare, family daycare, preschool and outside of school hours (OOSH) care services and PCYC

Gain 4 certifications, including CPR, Provide First Aid and Basic Emergency Life Support.

This 5-hour course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply immediate care of an injured or suddenly sick casualty. It will prepare you to be that first aid responder, life support, management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders until more advanced medical help arrives. Appropriate for various situations, including the workplace, home or neighbourhood.

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adult educations and support staff working within an education and care setting which must respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic anaphylactic emergencies.
