HLTAID003 Provide First Aid 

Superseded by HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

This 5.5-hour course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply immediate care to an injured or suddenly sick casualty. Be the first responder, offer life-support, or manage a loss until more advanced medical help can arrive. Appropriate for various situations, including the workplace, home and neighbourhood.

Qualifications & First Aid Certificate

1-day course with 3 Units of Competency from the new HLT Health Training Package recorded on your Statement of Attainment issued the same day

After successful completion of the course, you will receive:

1. HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
2. HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
3. HLTAID011 Provide first aid

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid meets all Australian government requirements for first aid in the workplace and the community first aider. Our government accredited courses are all nationally recognised and accredited with ASQA. Your qualification gained is equivalent to St Johns and Red Cross courses.

Reaccreditation & Refreshers

Current industry standards require Provide First Aid to be updated every three years. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends the CPR component be updated annually.
